About Alfredo Kierszman, Hair Stylist in Orlando
Alfredo Kierszman has been a licensed cosmetologist since 1989. His specialties are cutting and coloring, with over 20 years of color balancing and color correcting experience in Orlando. He is also an international platform artist, educator and author.
Hair runs in his family. Alfredo is a second-generation stylist; his mother, Ines Kierszman, began her career in 1959 and is now retired. He completed his cosmetology training at O.V.T.C. in 1989, then trained in Europe with Vidal Sassoon, Mohawk and Alfaparf Milano. In America, he also trained in Pivot Point cutting. He continues his advanced color training every year with Alfaparf Milano, Wella, Pravana, Schwarzkopf and Redken, to name a few.
As a platform artist and educator, he has taught for Sebastian, Paul Mitchell, Nioxin and Alfaparf Milano. He was also invited to join the Architect of Design team for Alfaparf Milano. He has been an invited speaker at hair shows across the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada and South America. In 2011 he presented his Launch Workshop at the Premiere Orlando hair show as a Cosmetologist Industry Consultant and Author. In 2012 he followed it with the Launch Keynote Course, presented with West Coast Salon Distributors.
He was also honored with the Sunshine State Award from the American Cancer Society for his volunteer work with Look Good Feel Better.
Sharing what he knows with fellow stylists is part of who he is: Alfredo is the author of The Launch: Success Training for Stylists, The Journal, and Hair Pings, Tweets and My Status, A Beginner’s Guide to Social Media.
